Print Trapper Business Cards
Design your own Trapper ID Card or Trapper Business Card and print on your own printer using common business card paper available at most office supply stores.
- Print only the quantity that you need
- Have different versions of cards for different purposes
- Can help with getting permissions on new property
- Can be used as trap tags on cage traps
Note: Business Card printing capability is not available in the demo version. All the features are available, except the cards will print one card per page. Using the demo version to print to business card paper will waste the paper.
How It Works
- Start Windows Paint (or other graphics program) and create a JPG file with the dimensions of 326w x 186h (in pixels)
- Use the text tool to add your name, address, phone number, email address and any other contact information
- Use the text tool to add a personal saying, license number, vehicle id number, words of wisdom or any other information you wish to pass on to landowners
- Save the file to your hard disk as a JPG image
- On the Trapline Journal reports menu, choose 7-Business Cards
- Click the button "Select 326x186 Business Card Image File" and choose the file that you just created
- TJ will make a copy of your original file as BUSCARD.JPG. If you make changes to the original file, you will need to select it again so that the TJ copy is updated. If the original file is ever lost or damaged, you may be able to recover it in BUSCARD.JPG in the TJ folder.
- Choose the number of pages that you wish to print. It is recommended to print one page at a time so that business card paper is not wasted because of a paper jam or something in the image is not the way you want it.
- Print to regular computer paper first to make sure that everything is correct. You can place the computer paper printout behind a page of business card paper and hold up to a light to make sure everything lines up.
- Print the cards on business card paper which is 2" x 3-1/2" (5.1cm x 8.9cm), 10 cards per page and can be found at most office supply stores.
- Follow the instructions that came with the card paper to separate the cards from each page. This is usually done by folding repeatedly along the perforation lines then tearing along the perforation lines.
